Esoteric Symbolism of Genesis Chapter Two This 4-session Zoom course will present a rare, non-traditional glimpse into the Kabbalistic symbolism of the Garden of Eden metaphor. The material is based on Genesis Chapter 2 and will map out a detailed esoteric model of the mind’s cognitive range, using Biblical symbology. Themes will include the two trees of the garden, the role of conceptuality in perception, the non-dual nature of phenomena, the transmutation of klipot (shells) into visionary transparencies, and the development of gnostic realization in mystical contemplation. The course will utilize themes from my book, The Kabbalistic Mirror of Genesis (2007), but will go far beyond the published text. It is not necessary to have studied the book, as the material has evolved over the past 18 years, though a working familiarity with basic Kabbalah is recommended. Session Topics: Session 1: Geometry and the Ground Session 2: Two Trees of the Garden Session 3: Tzimtzum and Klipot Session 4: Nine Chambers A PDF of visual diagrams will be provided upon registration. This document should be studied before the course begins. Each session will be approximately 1–2 hours in duration and will include a Q&A period at the end. All Zoom sessions will be recorded, and participants will have access to a video of each class.
